Coverage scope. This page lists statutory human rights commissions and tribunals only. Federal sectoral bodies that adjudicate discrimination claims under their own statutes (e.g. Canadian Industrial Relations Board for federally-regulated workplaces, Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board) are out of scope here.
Acronyms. Bilingual federal acronyms are shown with the English form first followed by the French form (e.g. CHRC · CCDP).
Statute citations. Citations refer to the consolidated statute in force at publication. Where a body's enabling Act has been replaced (e.g. Saskatchewan's 2018 recodification), the current statute is cited.
Editorial silence. Per M19 this page does not flag bodies as captured, conflicted, or otherwise compromised. Cross-references to oversight findings and complainant-experience data live on dedicated deep-dive pages and are deliberately omitted here.
