Information is a right. This document serves as our binding contract with you, the reader of the TENET5 news system. We believe that access to the public record should be unencumbered, untracked, and free from surveillance.

1. Information is a Right

We operate on the foundational principle that access to factual data, government records, and investigative journalism is a fundamental right. We do not gatekeep the public record, nor do we require you to surrender your privacy to access the truth.

2. Zero Data Collection

The TENET5 news system does not collect user data. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or telemetry of any kind. What you read is your business. We do not monetize your attention or profile your behavior.

3. Host-Level Data Collection

Although our code explicitly avoids collecting any data, TENET5 is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. As the active host and network provider, GitHub may collect standard server logs, IP addresses, and metadata required to serve the site over the internet. This is a fundamental reality of modern infrastructure, but it is not data we request, access, or control.

4. Our Commitment

If the infrastructure or hosting requirements of this project ever change in a way that would require us to compromise on these principles, we will shut the site down before we start tracking you.
